Kai wanted to play "baseball" this year as did his best friend, Hunter, so we sign them up expecting them to be in like a beginner level. Little did we know when we got to try outs this morning these kids/parents are SERIOUS! Our kids have never played before. You would think some of these folks were there for the major leagues! Ought to be an interesting season... We are totally there to have fun.

We had the same experience in T-Ball about a 30 years ago...the parents were so hard on their kids to perform so we just told ours to have fun and not let that bother them...some adults never grow up anyway !
How FUN!(that Kai is playing t-ball not that the parents are competetive.) I like the Aggie shirt! Did Kai have fun? The girls favorite part of Alex playingbaseball is hagning out with their buddies at the baseball feild! ENJOY!

I thought you'd notice the Aggie shirt!! Go Aggies. :) He picked it out this morning. He did have fun, it was sweet to hear him and Hunter cheer each other on. I pray he and Hunter get on the same team.

That's why were are there to have fun, not to "push" our kids. We want them to have a good experience, and learn how to be part of a team while doing something they enjoy. I can't wait to cheer on all the under dogs just to show those parents who are out there for "blood".
